Dueto the recent success of a new contract within the centre we arecurrently looking for a Work Based Learning Tutor to deliver highquality teaching learning and assessments to provide mentoring andsupport to Learners in the workplace this is in order to achievetargeted outcomes andachievements.

Youwill have experience of coaching and assessment delivering avariety of vocational qualifications to learners in employerspremises potential outreach in the community working to highstandards ensuring the quality of the learner s journey andcompletion of targets. You will be responsible for tutoringmentoring coaching and delivering to a caseload of learners in theworkplace. An aspect of this role will involve you engaging withpotential employers to gainleads.

Thesuccessful candidate will have experience of supporting delivery inthe workplace with competencies in the likes of TeamLeading/Management Customer Service Business Administration andEmployability plus manyothers.

Responsibilities

  • Promotelearning opportunities and recruit learners to the most appropriateprovision.
  • Identifyindividuals training and support needs as part of the inductionprocess record this in their training plans. Plan or modifydelivery asnecessary.
  • Instructlearners in the relevant topic in accordance with their abilitiesand to the content level and quality needed to meet the standardsof thequalification.
  • Byinterview observation and portfolio assess learners proficiencyagainst the course syllabus and qualification standards and ensurethe appropriate achievement records arecompleted.
  • Whereappropriate liaise with fellow Training staff to obtain suitableproject work to meet the needs of theprogramme.
  • Carryout regular reviews of the learners in order to ensureprogress.
  • Documentand maintain records of attendance assessment and learner progressand liaise with appropriate bodies to ensure the learner achievesthe award on completion of thecourse.

Serve as a Tutor to a cohort/caseload of learners, fostering asupportive learning environment. Develop and deliver engagingin-person sessions to learners, maintaining high standards withsupport from Quality. Create and support updates on resources andlesson plans, addressing individual and group needs. Assess andmark learners' work in adherence to quality and complianceguidelines. Work towards agreed targets with support from theManager. Actively promote training courses to learners, supportingadditional course interests. Tailor your teaching to ensure aconsistent approach and support to all learners in every session.Support all learners in achieving actively pursued courses withinthe centre. Collaborate closely with the Cumbria team, Quality, andIQA team.
