Behaviour Support

Location: Chesterfield

Pay Scale: £95- £105 per day

Start: September 2024

Contract: Part-Time/Full-Time

GSL Education’s South Yorkshire branch are looking for a dedicated and compassionate individual to join as Behaviour Support in our client schools. This is a great opportunity to contribute to the development of our young learners.

Job summary:

As a Behaviour Support, you will support the teacher and other support staff in helping students to both manage their behaviour and attain positive social skills. Your role will be crucial in creating a safe and conducive learning environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide one-on-one and group support to students with behavioural needs.
  • Implement behaviour management strategies and interventions.
  • Support the social and emotional development of students.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to ensure consistent support for all students.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience working with children, particularly in a behaviour support role is desirable.
  • Relevant qualifications in education or childcare are preferred.
  • An updated CV (covering last ten years barring any unexplained gaps) and an enhanced DBS registered to the update service (or be willing to apply for one).
  • A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people.
