GSL Education is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Behaviour Support to join our team in supporting the development of our young learners.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide one-on-one and group support to students with behavioural needs, promoting positive social skills and a safe learning environment.
- Implement behaviour management strategies and interventions, collaborating with colleagues to ensure consistent support for all students.
- Support the social and emotional development of students, fostering a culture of respect and inclusivity.
- Work closely with teachers and support staff to develop and implement behaviour plans, ensuring student success and well-being.
Requirements:
- Previous experience working with children, particularly in a behaviour support role, is highly desirable.
- Relevant qualifications in education or childcare are preferred, with a strong understanding of behaviour management and child development.
- A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people, with a strong knowledge of child protection policies and procedures.
- An enhanced DBS registration or willingness to apply, with a strong understanding of safer recruitment practices.
