We’ve got an exciting opportunity for you to join our team at Cliveden as a Creative Programme Manager.This is a unique opportunity for a proactive and creative person, who can lead on driving visitor numbers and diversifying our audiences through programming and events, whilst also developing our digital platforms, marketing and social media. Building strong local, national and international partnerships is key to achieving the ambitious outputs we are seeking.You’ll based at the Cliveden Estate but will support the programming and partnerships development across the wider Cliveden portfolio. Internally you’ll be known as ‘Senior Programming and Partnerships Officer’.This is a fixed term contract due to end when the previous employee returns from secondment which is currently 28 February 2025 but could be extended. Reporting to the Visitor Operations & Experience Manager, you’ll work closely with the visitor experience team and wider property colleagues to ensure the delivery is smooth operationally, departments feel involved, and objectives are met. 

You'll be required to work some evenings and weekends throughout the year depending on the operational demands of the site. Cliveden has good road transport links to London and by train to Taplow (Elizabeth Line).

What you'll be doing

You’ll work in collaboration to grow existing partnerships and network to build new ones which will help design and support delivery of activities as well as progress the work we have been doing to make sure the places we care for are accessible and welcoming to our varied audiences. The role will drive the delivery of our seasonal family trails and Christmas offer, new interpretation around the gardens, and play a key role in creating our future programming plans. You’ll be line managing two members of staff and a Volunteer Manager to multiple volunteer groups, such as the House Guides. Using your previous leadership experience, you’ll be leading, motivating, coaching and inspiring your teams to support the delivery of an outstanding visitor experience.You’ll be supporting the Duty Manager and the operational demands of the site on a day-to-day basis. You’ll receive appropriate training and be required to complete occasional Duty Manger shifts.
