This role is a long-term Speech and Language Therapist role with the potential for a permanent contract for the right candidate.
Speech and Language Therapist Role:
- Conduct assessments to identify speech and language disorders in students.
- Develop and implement individualized therapy plans to address communication challenges
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to create a holistic approach to support students' communication development.
- Educate and support parents, teachers, and staff on strategies to promote effective communication.
Speech and Language Therapist Role:
- A Bachelor's or Master's degree in Speech and Language Therapy from an accredited institution.
- Proven experience working with children with special needs, preferably in an educational setting.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong organisational and documentation abilities.
