We’re now recruiting for the class of 24 and have a number of specialist Apprenticeships available in Social Media, Creative, Account Management, PR, TV Production and Video Editing You’ll study for a relevant NVQ, whilst learning on the job in your chosen area. And then there’s the summer pool party, outdoor cinema nights, yoga clubs, annual fireworks display etc etc. We’ll see you in the pool…

The Part You’ll Play…
Our Social Media offering, McCann Content Studios, is at the heart of everything we do at McCann Manchester. Our talented team of specialists is fully integrated within the agency, leveraging the wider talents of our Production, Digital Media and Creative teams to ensure our clients succeed in the ever-evolving Social Media landscape. As a Social Media Apprentice you’ll gain experience across Social Writing, Design, Account Management and Strategy.

As a Social Media Apprentice you’ll…
  • Plan and develop creative content in line with the brief and budget/costs for brands like Aldi and Microsoft.
  • Manage amplification delivery and approvals
  • Have ongoing awareness of how well campaigns are performing against KPI's
  • Effectively manage a client portfolio, keeping them updated on activity, deadlines, and performance


What you’ll need as a Social Media Apprentice…
Minimum Criteria:
Our Apprenticeships are open to anyone over the age of 18 who shares our passion for Creativity. For the Social Media Apprenticeship you must have a GCSE Grade 4/C or above in English and Maths and a desire to learn and develop a career in the exciting world of Social Media.

As our Apprentices will be studying a Level 3 Standard apprenticeship, we are unfortunately unable to consider Graduates with degrees in Marketing, PR or Advertising disciplines for the Apprenticeship programme, due to course overlap.

  •  Excellent communication and organisational skills and an ability to prioritise a busy workload.
  • Attention to detail, team working skills and the ability to work within an ever changing environment
  • Customer focussed.

When it comes to application processes, ours is a little different. Our mantra is “Truth Well Told”, so we’d like you to show us who you are by sharing your Truth Well Told about why you should be our next Apprentice. We don’t want a CV, we want to see your creativity. This could be via any medium that you feel the most comfortable using. How about a video? Or a social media post? A poem? Your choice
If successful you will be invited to an assessment centre which will include group exercises, an interview and a numerical reasoning test – and of course, lots of laughs and fun along the way This will be followed by an interview with some of the team.
