Working in partnership with one of largest independent suppliers of chilled fish, we are recruiting a reliable, hardworking Production Line Leader based in Hull (HU3). This is a permanent position offering an excellent pay rate of £13.50 - £14.50 per hour.

Shift pattern / Working hours

Monday to Friday 7:30am - 5pm

Start date / Duration

Production line leader positions will commence with immediate effect however, if you do have a notice period with a current employer, we will work around this. This is ongoing, long-term work and will lead to a permanent position.

Job description

As a production line leader, your day-to-day duties will include;

· Lead, direct and assist team members to complete production requirements

· Following planned production order sheets and setting up the production lines accordingly.

· Optimizing production line efficiency by monitoring productivity and quality.

· Maintaining a fully operational, safe, and tidy work environment.

· Complete paperwork and any associated administrative tasks related to the production line

· Following health and safety protocols

· Ensure appropriate attire is worn at all times when entering production areas.

· Ensure adherence to correct changing and hygiene and technical procedures.

· Adhere to time & attendance procedures.

· Take reasonable care of the health and safety of self and others specifically being aware of your own working environment and observing safe working practices at all times;

The successful candidate:

To be considered for the position of Production Line Leader you must;

· Have previous experience as a line leader

· Basic Health & Safety / Basic Food hygiene

· You must have a good level of English language, written and oral

· Be a Team worker

· Attention to detail

· Excellent communication skills

· Have the ability to multi-task

· Flexible and adaptable approach

· Must be able to work with your own initiative.
