Evening Production Line Technician

Join the team at Cranswick Country Foods PLC as a Production Line Technician. This role offers a unique opportunity to contribute to our operations during the night shift.
Key Responsibilities:
- Ensure that all scheduled Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM) tasks are completed on time.
- Prepare production lines for efficient startup after hygiene procedures.
- Support the achievement of departmental Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).
- Maintain a safe working environment for yourself and your colleagues.
- Perform general and specific hygiene tasks according to established cleaning protocols.
- Complete daily responsibilities and meet targets set by your Team Leader or Manager.
- Report any incidents, equipment malfunctions, or safety concerns to your Team Leader or Manager.
- Foster positive working relationships with colleagues to enhance teamwork.
- Take on additional responsibilities as required by Senior Management.
- Collaborate with the Management team to uphold the site’s commitment to Food Safety, Health & Safety, Ethical practices, Environmental stewardship, and Energy efficiency.
Training Requirements:
- Completion of all core training and mandatory procedures.
- Familiarity with relevant site policies and procedures, including customer-specific requirements.
- Minimum Level 2 Food Safety certification.
- Level 2 Health & Safety awareness.
- Participation in group and site induction programs.
Knowledge & Skills:
- Experience in Fast-Moving Consumer Goods (FMCG) manufacturing, preferably in the food sector.
- Strong attendance and punctuality record.
- Understanding of risk assessments and competence in safe working procedures.
- Ability to identify hazards and report near misses effectively.
