Key Responsibilities:- Assist in the technical delivery of events in the main auditorium and associated breakout spaces.
- Support event engineers with the installation of temporary power, operation of sound and lighting systems, and reactive maintenance.
- Advise on the advancing of events, liaising with promoters, tour managers, and event organizers.
- Contribute to the development and delivery of training for relevant staff.
- Maintain relevant risk assessments and safe systems of work in line with Health and Safety Legislation and approved codes of practice.
- Experience working in an events-based environment, preferably in a similar multi-purpose space with a mixed program.
- Ability to work without supervision and take responsibility for problem-solving, fault-finding, and repairs.
- Awareness of Health and Safety issues regarding production and stage production.
- Experience in maintaining technical equipment to a high standard, both proactively and reactively.
- Excellent IT knowledge, including MS Office packages.
- Passion for service delivery standards and a willingness to lead by example.
- Experience in the use of AutoCAD to interpret technical drawings.
- Experience with DANTE audio networks.
- Experience with event lighting, including DMX, Art-Net, and sACN.
- Recent counterbalance Forklift Truck training.
This role requires the ability to work weekends, evenings, and public holidays. The successful candidate will be required to perform physical labor tasks, including manual handling. There may be a requirement to work at other venues operated by ASM Global.
