This role is part of the Grants Payment team, which manages sites payments for global projects. The Sr. Payment Manager role will ensure successful Study/Site setup and execution of Grant payments. The role involves collaborating/partnering with IT, Payment Associate, Clinical Team , Project Team, and Finance Team for successful processing of site payments.
Below are the job responsibilities for this position.
Responsible for the financial reporting for grant payment study budgets. This includes forecasting, reconciliation and other reporting requirements identified. Responsible for the management of site grant and non-grant payment activities Provide local leadership in the development and implementation of the CTMS and GPS systems. Develop standard processes and trainings for Grant Payment and GSS/Clinical team. Lead special projects as assigned by Grant Payment leadership. Provide grant related support to project teams. Participate in business development activities, as needed. Liaison with project teams and department members regarding issues of compliance with study billing guides Effectively network with others throughout Fortrea (i.e. Finance, Global Process Organization (GPO)) Provide input for project specific plans that include grant payment information. Anticipate and monitor project requirements and institute appropriate actions to ensure timelines and budget needs are met. Assist more junior team members with their workload, e.g. setup budgets in CTMS, process payments, etc. Contribute to the development of processes, procedures, tracking systems and IT solutions for grant payment activities. Provide direction to team on correct entry of time and other administrative items. Interact with internal and external work groups to evaluate and forecast workload and resource needs. Present at internal and external meetings including client meetings, if needed Ensure appropriate communication on project-related matters with the clinical project team. Review and, in accordance with Fortrea standards and assigned authority, approve employee expense reimbursement. Perform quality control tasks as requested by Grant Payment leadership. Support client audit findings or CAIRs. Develop, update and/or refine SOPs.
