TheHealthy Together Helpline have an exciting opportunity for enthusiastic andmotivated Public Health Nurses (SCPHN) to work within the Healthy Together Helpline. TheHelpline is a single point of access telephone Helpline for Health Visiting andSchool Nursing services across Leicester, Leicestershire and Rutland and iscritical to the effective functioning of the whole service. The Helpline provides excellent customerservice providing equal access for all.

TheHelpline is a busy and fast paced environment. As an experienced Public HealthNurse, you will be using your clinical skills and knowledge to manage andrespond to the myriad of incoming calls to the Healthy Together service. We arelooking for compassionate, respectful and caring staff who can delivering aresponsive service to our diverse population. You will need to be flexible inyour approach as the helpline continues to evolve and develop.

Youmust have NMC registration and a Specialist Community Public Health Nursingqualification. The service is open from Monday to Friday and staff willbe required to work hours to cover the service on these days. The roles will bea mixture of working from base and agile working.

For this role you must have your own Transport or suitable alternative. Public transport is not suitable for this role.

Main duties of the job

To deliverevidence based advice and support to service users over the telephone supportingthe delivery of the Healthy Child Programme To activelycontribute to the improvement of service and quality of care provision to meetthe needs of patients, service users and their families. Workcollaboratively and ensure maintenance of effective partnership communicationwith other professionals, agencies and stakeholders. Demonstrate ahigh standard of professional practice Attendance atmulti agency meetings and sharing of information To foster aculture of networking in an open and transparent approach with internal andexternal partnerships and between all stakeholders. To participate inthe effective clinical leadership and management of the team Support studentsand learners within practice, providing opportunities for learning anddevelopment
