We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented university placement student to join our team as a undergraduate placement student Materials Compliance Engineer. In this role, you will play a crucial part in ensuring that our products meet global environmental regulations related to restricted materials while still meeting all technical requirements.

Your primary responsibility will be to manage technical data associated with PFAS, RoHS, and REACH compliance. This position offers an excellent opportunity to gain practical experience in the field of materials compliance while contributing to our commitment to sustainability.

Key areas of the role include:

Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product development engineering and supply chain, to ensure compliance.Obtain, review and document technical data associated with PFAS, RoHS, and REACH compliance topics.Track and analyze legislation, keeping informed about emerging and existing environmental requirements, including regulations related to restricted materials.

Manage supplier information and documentation related to restricted substances.

Working towards a Bachelor's or Masters degree in mechanical or materials/chemical engineering and will likely be heading into your final year on track to achieving an average 2.1 or above
