Job summary

The post holder will work in partnership with various departments within the Trust (Both Clinical and Non-Clinical) in supporting the performance and management of patient's access to care from an administrative validation and performance analysis perspective. The post covers all aspects of the patient journey within the Trust and will involve working with the internal departments, and liaison with outside agencies such as other hospitals. The post holder will aim to support the Trust in staying compliant with the Trust's Access Policy and KPIs relative to RTT and associated areas of work. The post holder will also support in the development of staff knowledge and support mitigation of Data Quality issues.

Main duties of the job

Support the Waiting List Manager, general managers and the operational teams across all trust locations with the management of all aspects of the RTT standard Retrospectively validate closed breached pathways to support weekly and month end data submissions Actively amend data errors on PAS. Support the trust wide RTT training and education programmes. Provide minimum dataset information for patients whose care/pathway is being transferred to other trusts. Validate PAS data used to inform the measurement of the Trust's compliance with 18 Weeks and ensure the data is of high quality. This will involve the complex analysis of patient pathway data and taking corrective action as appropriate. Promote data quality improvement within the Trust. Support in ensuring the directorate maintains a high level of data quality. Engage with directorate teams to assist the daily, weekly and monthly data correction reports and also enable supervisors and managers to monitor their teams' compliance. Validation of patient data to ensure it is accurate and up-to-date, including supporting Directorate staff in using Business Intelligence (BI) Tools, and training staff on use of these where needed. To ensure that compulsory local and nationally required data is completed and submitted. To liaise with relevant clinical teams to ensure and support the quality of data recorded on Clinical Systems
