An exciting opportunity awaits you to join Eurostar in the role of Train Presentation Controller.

Internal Use Only: Grade C, based in TMI.

The Train Presentation Controller oversees the setting up and delivery of the quality and audit program as per individual cleaning contracts to ensure that quality and compliance targets are met. The main goal of this role is to ensure that high standards of cleaning are maintained across EIL’s locations and EECTM (incl. minibus services). Failure of meeting standards needs to be reflected and addressed through appropriate channels and tools.

Requirements

You'll be doing...

  • Build and own the quality audit program across Eurostar locations as per individual contracts to ensure that quality and compliance targets are met.
  • Determine the periodical audit schedules for all locations in accordance with contractual terms and conditions.
  • Ensure all quantitative contractual auditing processes and requirements are fulfilled.
  • Deliver analysis and recommendations for improvements and follow up as required.
  • Compile quantitative and qualitative periodical management reports on compliance performance.
  • Carry out in process checks to measure service compliance against a range of agreed EIL Quality, Safety and Environmental Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).
  • Maintain effective records of audit and in process checks results.
  • Be fully conversant with the trains’ cleaning manuals, cleaning specifications and the auditing methodology.
  • Assist and support Train Presentation Contract managers with continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Maintain communication and information exchanges with EIL’s continental cleaning partners’
  • and auditors.

Essential...

  • Highly organised and able to work independently under pressure and handle multiple tasks at the same time.
  • Ability to work on own initiative and to deadlines.
  • Managing third parties and their activities
  • Working knowledge of Health and Safety systems in the cleaning industry
  • Good understanding of cleaning methods and processes
  • Customer focus
  • Able to collect and analyse a wide range of data and present to a range of different audiences using appropriate formats.
  • Knowledge of Train movement and platform operational environment and protocols
  • Knowledge of the operational environment and geography at Eurostar Engineering Centre, Temple Mills.
  • Flexibility as the role requires some degree of travelling and covers days and night operations across EIL locations (including weekends)
  • Knowledge of operational train movement and protection requirements and associated protocols within a rolling stock maintenance facility
  • Knowledge of St Pancras International Terminal operational environment and geography
