About us

Part of London + Regional Hotels, The Lensbury Resort is located on the Banks of the River Thames at Teddington and is home to an exclusive leisure club, a 155 bedroom hotel, meeting and events space, restaurant and bar, Spa and 25 acres of gardens and grounds.

The Role

  • Offer a warm welcome to all visitors entering the Conference Centre and direct them to their meeting room;
  • Produce & provide all welcoming materials and official documentation for meetings and events while overseeing the conference lounge;
  • Respond to IT, AV, Food & Beverage and facilities queries and requests from event organisers and delegates and disseminate actions and information accordingly;
  • Receive and sign for deliveries;
  • Assist in managing the Conference inbox;
  • Respond to small meetings and requests;
  • Provide on the day client support including signage, photocopying, etc.;
  • Respond to internal enquiries for rooms and take bookings;
  • Prepare and issue the daily update function sheets /event arrangements
  • Provide administrative support for the Meeting & Events Sales team;
  • Contact event organisers with pre-event welcome email, introducing them to the event operations team and enabling any last minute or special requests to be handled;
  • Manage the charges and postings of events on the day;
  • Complete post-event invoices in a timely manner.

 

What are We looking for?

  • Exceptional interpersonal skills to enhance our service standards
  • Excellent communication, guest service and time management skills
  • Experience in Corporate Reception or similar role 
  • Meeting & Events experience would be an advantage
  • Computer skills, specifically Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel)
  • Knowledge of Opera Cloud system  

 

Shift Pattern

Tuesday - Friday 10:30 - 19:00 

Saturday 8:30 - 17:00
