The Role

An opportunity has arisen for a Clerical Officer (Ward Clerk) based at University Hospital Hairmyres. The Clerical Officer will provide a comprehensive administrative service to the medical and nursing teams within the ward environment. You will deal with telephone and face-to-face enquiries from all staff groups, patients, relatives & carers providing information directly.

Please note this is a part time post and the salary for this position will be pro-rata.

Location and Working Pattern

This role will be based in the Medical Directorate within University Hospital Hairmyres

The working pattern for this role: Monday, Thursday & Friday. 8am to 1pm. Flexibility will be required for 2 out of 3 days to provide cover for wards. (Friday shift is fixed)
