  • The business is recruiting a Head of Procurement take the lead on driving best practice Procurement across the global business and play an instrumental role in the growth and expansion of the brand.
  • The Head of Procurement will be hands-on liaising with senior stakeholders both internally and externally to deliver a purposeful, resilient and economically effective supply base fit to meet the high growth needs over the next few years.
  • You will manage thestrategy for our critical supply partners, in both direct and indirect categories.
  • You will also responsible for shaping and developing key suppliers. Optimisingsupplier performance, through agreed mutual initiatives, ensuring these partners can sustainably grow with business, by identifying our future business needs and managing the risk of our increasingly complex and critical supply base.
  • You will ideally bring senior level procurement experience, having set a strategy and delivered it through a team.

Key responsibilities:

  • Lead the procurement function and support ongoing development of the team
  • Lead process of procurement and governance
  • Negotiate high risk and high dependency terms
  • Optimise multi territory and multi category supply agreements
  • Manage and optimise supplier performance across key tier 1 suppliers
  • Develop long term relationships and supply plans executed through cross-functional teams
  • Look externally to the wider markets, to anticipate and mitigate risks

Key skills:

  • Strong strategic, commercial and critical thinker
  • Experienced practitioner of strategic procurement
  • Experience of working with contract manufacturing
  • Proficient in senior stakeholder management, influencing and building high trust relationships
  • A supportive and collaborative leadership style with experience in developing high performing teams
  • Experience in delivering change through rapid growth environments
  • Confident and experienced negotiator of complex strategic spend portfolios
