Job Duties:

- Provide tailored tutoring sessions to Key Stage 3 students with Special Educational Needs (SEN)

- Develop individualised learning plans to support students' academic progress and personal growth

- Implement effective teaching strategies to accommodate diverse learning styles and abilities

- Monitor student progress and adjust teaching methods as needed

- Collaborate with parents, teachers, and other professionals to ensure the overall well-being and success of students with SEN

Required Qualifications:

- A relevant teaching qualification

- Experience working with students with SEN

- Strong understanding of SEN strategies and interventions

Education:

- Bachelor's degree in Education or related field

Experience:

- Minimum of 2 years' experience in a teaching or tutoring role, preferably with SEN students

Knowledge and Skills:

- Knowledge of SEN policies and procedures

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills 

- Ability to adapt teaching methods to meet individual student needs

Preferred Qualifications:

- Additional training in SEN education

- Experience with behaviour management techniques

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
