Short Course Tutor

To teach on Short course programmes as required
- Sports Coaching, Customer Service Employability and Functional skills
- To ensure programmes delivered by the organisation meet the relevant curriculum.
- To assist/ be responsible for identified units of study and where appropriate undertake lead tutor responsibilities for a named group of learners.
- Liaise with; traineeship manager, administrators, support staff, parents, external staff and students.
- To attend all staff and standardisation meetings, and other meetings, as required.
- To plan, teach and assess in line with the Qualification and Ofsted standards.
- To ensure internal verification measures are complete as required.
- To maintain own CPD to enhance the organisation.
- To deliver high quality informative lessons based around customer service or sports coaching.
- Provide high quality lessons on employability elements
- Help guide students through Functional skills in Maths and English if required.
- To prepare session plans, as appropriate, in accordance with participants needs and programme needs.
- To complete registers for attendees of programme, where necessary.
- To ensure all paperwork for programmes is submitted and stored correctly.
- To keep up to date with all education programmes run.
- To raise awareness and promote programmes.
- To support learners in their next steps on completion of traineeships.

**Salary**: £18,000.00-£22,000.00 per year

- GCSE or equivalent (preferred)

**Experience**:

- Teaching: 1 year (preferred)
- Tutoring: 1 year (preferred)
