Job Duties:- Provide tailored support and guidance to Key Stage 1 students with Special Educational Needs (SEN)
- Create individualised learning plans to meet the diverse needs of students
- Deliver engaging and interactive lessons to promote academic progress and personal development
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and external professionals to ensure holistic support for students
- Maintain accurate records of student progress and communicate effectively with relevant stakeholders
- Recognised qualification in Special Education Needs (SEN) or relevant field
- Valid DBS (Disclosure and Barring Service) clearance
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Previous experience working with children with SEN in an educational setting
- Sound knowledge of SEN teaching strategies and best practises
- Ability to adapt teaching methods to suit individual learning styles
- Additional training in specific SEN areas such as Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) or Dyslexia
- Experience using assistive technology to support learning
- Work in a home environment with some flexibility required
- Potential exposure to challenging behaviours and emotional situations
- Regular collaboration with colleagues and external professionals

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
