An exciting new job opportunity hasarisen for an experienced and committed Paramedic Practitioner to join our busyfriendly practice in New Brighton, Wirral.
As our Paramedic Practitioner you willbe working alongside five GP partners, 4 salaried Doctors, an experiencednursing team and a supportive administrative team. We have a clear ethos toprovide a traditional family practice with an emphasis on continuity of carebut also recognise the necessity of an innovative approach to patient care tomeet our changing patient needs.
Experience in primary care would be an advantage.
Main duties of the job
Your key responsibility will be to receive patients with undifferentiated and undiagnosed problems to assess their healthcare needs and to make a diagnosis using your paramedic knowledge and skills.
Your duties will include:
Seeing patients face-to-face on-the-day appointments Telephone consultations Home visits (including to patients in care homes) Refer to and liaise with other agencies as required Maintain accurate records using relevant systemsYou will be working in a supportive environment in order that you can deliver a professional and meaningful contribution to the Practice.

St Georges Medical Centre is based in NewBrighton, Wirral and serves a practice population of 9,600 patients.
The Practice has a CQC rating of goodand is a member of a well-recognised Primary Care Network, working with five otherlocal practices.

About the Candidate
Candidates will have extensive operational experience as a paramedic, with full HCPC registration and will have experience of working in a GP Surgery setting.
Experience of working in minor illness would also be advantageous.
