We're looking for aSenior Site Engineer to join ourutilities arm of Kier called Natural Resources, to work on our sitefor our client Severn Trent in Branton, South Yorkshire.

 

Location: Branton, SouthYorkshire

Contract:Permanent, Full Time – flexible and part time hours may beavailable if desired, just let us know

 

Responsibilities

As a Senior Site Engineeryou'll be responsible for the supervision of the workforce for theBarnton wastewater treatment works. Within the role you'll work oncapital projects within the water industry, working on upgrade andresilience of wastewater treatment sites.

 

Your day to day willinclude:

  • Conducting ITPs and manage technical queries, as well asproducing RAMS and assisting with short term workprogrammes.
  • Raising TQs on the proposed designand ensuring quality control requirements are met and recorded inaccordance with specification.
  • Operating andpromoting high standard of health and safety and environmentcompliance.
  • Ensuring all materials used andwork performed are as per specifications, with input and awarenessof construction programme and working alongside the project plannerand Project Manager.
  • Procurement and planningof equipment and materials for site establishment and throughoutdelivery of the scheme.

This role of Senior SiteEngineer is great for you if youhave:

  • CivilEngineering HNC/Degree or equivalent with proven experience workingwithin main contractor civil engineering environment.
  • Knowledge of contract conditions, CDM regulations, DesignManagement, Programme and Risk Management and cost controlincluding forecasting, actual cost, and value reporting.
  • Knowledge in producing, reviewing, and implementing SafeSystems of Work for task specific activities.
  • Hold a CSCS Card.
