Key Responsibilities:

As a Senior Site Engineer, you will play a crucial role in supervising the workforce at the wastewater treatment facilities. Your responsibilities will encompass managing capital projects in the water sector, focusing on the enhancement and resilience of wastewater treatment operations.

Your daily tasks will include:

  • Conducting Inspection and Test Plans (ITPs) and managing technical inquiries, alongside producing Risk Assessments and Method Statements (RAMS) while assisting with short-term work schedules.
  • Issuing Technical Queries (TQs) regarding the proposed designs and ensuring compliance with quality control standards as per specifications.
  • Promoting and maintaining high standards of health, safety, and environmental compliance.
  • Ensuring that all materials and work performed align with specifications, collaborating closely with the project planner and Project Manager.
  • Overseeing the procurement and planning of equipment and materials for site setup and throughout the project lifecycle.

Candidate Profile:

This position of Senior Site Engineer is ideal for you if you possess:

  • A Civil Engineering HNC/Degree or equivalent, with substantial experience in a main contractor civil engineering environment.
  • Familiarity with contract conditions, CDM regulations, Design Management, Programme and Risk Management, as well as cost control including forecasting and value reporting.
  • Experience in creating, reviewing, and implementing Safe Systems of Work for specific tasks.
  • A valid CSCS Card.
