Job Title: Site Process Engineer

Amazon is seeking a highly skilled Site Process Engineer to join the EU Process Engineering (EU PE) team. As a key member of this team, you will play a crucial role in driving process stabilization, standardization, and continuous improvement for the EU Customer Fulfilment Network.

Job Summary:

The Site Process Engineer will work closely with the FC Senior Leadership Team and EU PE functions to deploy initiatives, build networking and relationships in the FC, and drive compliance for the initiatives within an assigned timeline. This role requires strong technical knowledge of at least one Fulfillment process path and experience in Operations as an Area Manager or comparable experience.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Deploy EU network initiatives assigned to the FC, ensuring timely execution and compliance.
  • Support the FC in committing to test and pilot EU Projects to avoid delays and ensure successful deployment.
  • Lead EU Projects to expand the initial scope and coordinate with multiple FCs, improving project management skills and interacting with external stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with the local Operations Management team to implement improvement action plans using standard templates.
Requirements:
  • Degree from an accredited institution.
  • English and German language proficiency (C1 level).
  • High proficiency in technical knowledge of at least one Fulfillment process path (Quriosity silver/gold certification).
  • Experience in Operations as an Area Manager or comparable experience.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Strong professional experience with Lean, Six Sigma, and Kaizen methodologies.
  • Relevant knowledge of change management and continuous improvement methodologies.
  • Excellent communication skills and detail orientation.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to motivate a team.
