Senior Site Agent Opportunity

Elvet Recruitment is seeking an experienced Senior Site Agent to join a reputable regional civil engineering contractor in South Yorkshire. This role offers a chance to take on a challenging project management position and develop your skills in contractual and commercial involvement.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage projects from inception to completion, with values up to £8m
  • Site management and coordination
  • Collaborate with the Contracts Manager to achieve site targets
  • Attend site meetings and ensure effective communication
  • Temporary Works management and lift planning
  • Assist with staff and subcontractor allocation
  • Issue early warnings and compensation events
  • Short-term planning and project reporting
  • Site setup and early works
  • RAMS documentation and site checks
Requirements:
  • Proven experience as a Site Manager or Site Agent with a principal contractor on heavy civil engineering or infrastructure projects (values £5m+)
  • Experience in managing deep drainage, pipework, heavy civils, or Water Treatment civils packages is essential
  • NEC 3 or NEC 4 contract experience is preferred
  • Industry-related qualification (HNC/HND or Degree) is beneficial
  • SMSTS, CSCS, and Full Driver's License are required
