We are experts is supporting clients to achieve their energy management, sustainability, decarbonisation and net zero ambitions.

We are currently looking for a Generator Engineer, who will be responsible for the service, maintenance and repair of diesel generator equipment.

The ideal candidate will have proven experience with diesel engines, gearboxes, hydraulics, electrics, and braking systems and will hold a full valid UK driving licence. An Electrical Engineering qualification or equivalent is preferred.

Key responsibilities include:

Diagnose faults, repair, and maintain diesel generators and related hire equipment. Keep up-to-date with administrative tasks, including accurate reporting of parts used and time spent. Assist in the operation of hire contracts and prepping machines for hire. Ensure tools and equipment are maintained in a safe and tidy condition. Adhere to company and legal safety practices. Build and maintain relationships with clients and employees. Provide technical advice as required. Planning and coordination of service, maintenance and repair visits. Support the development and capabilities of the field service team. Perform administrative duties and assist in managing hire contracts. Provide customer-centric service in the field.
