Job Title: Marketing Research Assistant

About the Role: We are seeking a diligent and analytical Marketing Research Assistant to join our team in Bristol. In this role, you will support our marketing efforts by gathering, analyzing, and interpreting data to help inform our strategies and campaigns. Your insights will play a key role in helping us understand market trends, customer behavior, and competitive dynamics.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct research on market trends, consumer behavior, and industry developments to support marketing initiatives.
  • Gather and analyze data from various sources, including surveys, focus groups, social media, and market reports.
  • Assist in the design, distribution, and analysis of surveys and questionnaires to collect customer insights.
  • Compile and present research findings in clear, concise reports and presentations for the marketing team and management.
  • Monitor and report on competitor activities and industry trends to identify opportunities and threats.
  • Support the marketing team in developing data-driven strategies and campaigns based on research findings.
  • Assist in tracking and analyzing the performance of marketing campaigns, providing recommendations for improvement.
  • Maintain organized records of research data, sources, and methodologies used in analysis.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure research aligns with overall business objectives.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest marketing research tools, techniques, and best practices.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Economics, or a related field is preferred.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and trends.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel, and familiarity with data analysis software.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Attention to detail and a strong commitment to accuracy in research.
  • Previous experience in marketing research or a related role is a plus but not required.
  • A proactive approach to problem-solving and a willingness to learn.
