About the role:
Inspire and support Mentees in managing dependencies, accessing appropriate support, and moving towards employment Engage individuals on a one-to-one basis to understand their goals and aspirations Empower and build confidence in mentees, providing emotional support as needed Collaborate on action plans, reviewing and evaluating impact Work with individuals to increase their confidence, empowering and supporting them to achieve their goals Work closely with DWP work coaches and local substance misuse services Complete, review and evaluate action/impact/support/care plans with menteesAbout you:
Lived experience of substance misuse and recovery Strong written, verbal, and IT skills Ability to build relationships with empathy and non-judgmental approach Confidence working both independently and as part of a team Calm and collected under pressure Ability to work with professional boundaries Excellent time management skills, and an ability to work on own initiative prioritising accordinglyWhat we will give to you:
