KeyDuties/Accountabilities:

You will workas part of a small team of occupational therapists and withcolleagues across all sectors to arrange appropriate support in thecommunity.

Theoccupational therapy assistant role sits within Adult Social Carebut you have close links with the Mary Sheridan Centre and theChildren with Disabilities social work team.

The purpose of the role isto assess or review the occupational therapy needs of children withless complex needs where screening does not trigger the need for anassessment or review by an occupational therapist.

EssentialExperienceRequired:

Experience witharranging delivery / installation and review equipment /adaptations for children using the appropriate assessment tools andguidance taking account of individual circumstances and beingsensitive to the client context is essential.

Experience ofrecommending minor adaptations and noncomplex major adaptations isessential.

Experiencedealing with children s equipment for the home such as seating bedshoists and bathing equipment isessential.

EssentialQualificationsRequired:

Thecandidate must be literate andnumerate.

Additionalinformation tonote:

Working hours:35 hours perweek.

Workingcondition: remotely fromhome.
