What we are lookingfor

In this role you will be in charge ofsupporting our existing and future portfolio companies withstrategic partnerships equity story building and networkstrengthening with key potential acquirers. You will also work veryclosely with our founders to help them prepare for critical stagesof their journey (fundraising M&A ) and be responsible forenabling us to build liquidity optionality inAfrica.


What doesthe job involve
  • Build and executeexit plans for our portfolio to optimize the fundsreturns.
  • Develop transformative partnershipsfor our portfolio with key industryplayers
  • Create a strong network of potentialstrategic financial partners (leading industry players large techand corporate players investors bankers ) across theworld
  • Follow coordinate or lead portfoliofundraising efforts to make it as smooth as possible andoptimize.

  • Identify and evaluateacquisition targets for our portfolio and support them in closingthedeals.

Qualifications
  • 710 years of professional experience
  • A Stronglongterm commitment to Africa
  • Ideal previousexperience in large leading tech players M&Aand startupleadership positions
  • Proven interest in techentrepreneurship and experience in working with earlystage techcompanies.
  • Strong knowledge of local marketsand tech ecosystems (ideally worked/lived inAfrica)
  • Experience in other emerging markets isa plus (SE Asia Latin America Chinaetc.)
