Main duties of the job

The principal role of the Divisional Support Accountant is to provide the necessary financial and statistical information and support to assist the Divisional Management teams achieve their corporate objectives. Job responsibilities

The main responsibilities include:

preparing accurate and timely budget statements each month in line with the financial reporting timetable communicating key financial information clearly and concisely to Trust Managers/budget holders to undertake the preparation and reconciliation of monthly accruals and prepayments to deputise for the financial management accountants in their absence to assist in year end financial accounting and annual planning process as required to undertake ad-hoc projects and to assist in any other accounting areas as necessary
