Casual Tutor

We are looking for qualified Tutors to deliver L Door Security / SIA Qualification. 

Therefore candidates will need to meet the following requirements:

Teaching qualification certificate Assessing qualification (or unit) certificate ACT Security e-learning certificate, issued in the last months ACT Awareness e-learning certificate, issued in the last months Level Delivery of Conflict Management certificate (or recognised equivalent) Level Deliverers of Physical Invention Trainers certificate (or recognised equivalent) An in-date Physical Intervention licence agreement, issued by one of the approved methodology owners listed on the SIA’s website years frontline operational experience, obtained within the last years

This role is casual therefore hours will vary.

The successful candidate will be qualified to deliver L Door Security Qualifications.

Responsibilities include:

Plan and prepare, learning programmes for adults that will achieve measurable social regeneration outcomes, including raising engagement and encouraging participation and progression and enabling maths and English development to take place.

Deliver and assess learning programmes for adults ensuring a high standard of teaching and learning is achieved with measured progression taking place embedding equality and diversity and promoting British values within all our provision.

Evaluate the learning that has taken place, measure success and update learning programmes as appropriate.
