We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Band 6 Occupational Therapist to join a dynamic healthcare team in one of the trusts in North West England. The trust is one of only three dedicated children's hospital trusts in the UK, providing world-class healthcare for children and young people, and offering a wide range of services.

Role Responsibilities:

  • Provide specialised, high-standard occupational therapy care as part of the therapy and multi-professional teams within burns & plastics subspecialties.
  • Perform advanced therapeutic assessments of children with a wide range of conditions and problems.
  • Provide diagnoses related to therapeutic interventions.
  • Develop highly skilled knowledge to deliver individualised treatment programmes for each child.
  • Independently manage a personal caseload of children without direct supervision.
  • Access advice, training, and support from senior therapists, while also working as an autonomous practitioner.
  • Participate in the Burns, Orthopaedics, Plastics, and Limb Reconstruction Sunday working rota.

Requirements:

  • HCPC registration with OT qualifications.
  • Significant post-graduate experience with a broad variety of clinical conditions.
  • Some experience in burns and/or plastics.
  • Experience working as part of a multi-disciplinary team.
