An exciting opportunity has arisen for an enthusiastic and motivated individual to join the Accommodation Team at Royal Devon University Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust. This is a fixed term contract for months while you undergo the apprenticeship and after that, depending on achievements during the months there will be the option to make the role substantive. This role will be supporting the Accommodation team to deliver a wide range of services to our residents, guests and visitors.

This Level 2 apprenticeship is an -month training programme which will be completed whilst working in the Accommodation Department at The Royal Devon University Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust (Eastern Services). Training will be carried out through Exeter College on a day release basis (Term time). You will study for a Level 2 Diploma as a Facilities Services Operative Apprentice with on the job training also being provided to the successful applicant. Experience for the role is not essential as you will train, earn and learn whilst you work.

You will work as part of a small team focussed on providing efficient and quality domestic services to those who stay in the Trust’s on-site accommodation. You will also receive training and gain experience in managing the Accommodation booking and payment processes while also developing an understanding of the legalities of short-term licence to accommodate arrangements.

This fast paced and dynamic role will also involve interaction and experience of dealing with a range of other Trust services including Estates and Facilities colleagues, Infection Prevention and Control, Procurement and Finance.

Working Hours: hours per week, : - :, excluding Public Holidays. One day a week at Exeter College. Please note, that you will be required to work a longer day when you attend college (usually between the hours of :-:). We will be flexible and reduce your hours on another day so you do not exceed your weekly working hours.
