This role will be supporting one of our BACE (Barnardo's against Child Exploitation) Project Worker's within Old Market Services, Bristol and will require a candidate that is highly organised, flexible, with great communication skills, writing skills, superb time management and the ability to work confidentially. 

Barnardo's Against Child Exploitation (BACE) Is the imagination of Old Market Services BASE Team (Barnardo's Against Sexual Exploitation), ROUTES team (which supports children and young people at risk of Child Criminal Exploitation) and Safe Choices (Barnardo's service which supports children and young people who have been reported missing).

BACE works alongside children, young people and young adults of all genders who are being or are at high risk of sexual and or criminal exploitation. BACE delivers a relationship based, trauma informed intervention to young people both a one-to-one basis and through group work.

In addition to one to one and group work, BACE completes Missing Return Conversations (a statutory requirement) if a child (under 18) has been reported missing. This aspect of the service does not accept referrals.

Your activities will include;

This post is office based at our office in Bristol for 8 hours a week, how these 8 hours are undertaken can be discussed.

Essential Criteria

The successful candidate would need to have excellent computer skills with a good working knowledge of MS Office products and the ability to pickup local data systems with training. Highly organised Strong communication, organisation and literacy skills.
