Job description

We are looking for an experienced Learning and Development Manager to help lead the delivery of effective training solutions across our business. You’ll also play a key role as part of our L&D Senior Leadership and People Leadership Teams.

This is a fantastic opportunity to lead our L&D Development team. You’ll focus on ensuring that your team delivers a high-quality, integrated, and delivery-focused service. Building skills in FLS across a diverse range of topics, from leadership and management to environmental science, you can be at the centre of FLS’s exciting future.

You’ll have a customer centric approach, with strong leadership skills and the ability to engage with internal and external stakeholders at all levels. With a commitment to continuous improvement, you will lead on developing and implementing improved ways of working across the team.

To be successful, you should have experience of successfully leading and managing a team within an L&D function, be familiar with Learning Management Systems and have the ability to operate, influence and negotiate and at a tactical and strategic level to define current and future organisational needs. Experience within an Organisational Development setting would also be advantageous.

Ideally you will be based near one of our head offices, either Inverness or Edinburgh, to meet the requirements of the role. However, hybrid working is also supported through our Smarter Working Arrangements.
