We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Senior Nurse to join our Learning Disability Community Team in NHS Highland. As a key member of our team, you will provide exceptional care and support to adults with learning disabilities, working collaboratively with other healthcare professionals to deliver person-centered services.

The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work autonomously and as part of a dynamic team. You will be experienced in working positively with other agencies, care providers, and health workers, with a strong commitment to clinical supervision and peer support.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide high-quality care and support to adults with learning disabilities in the community
  • Work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals to deliver person-centered services
  • Develop and maintain effective relationships with service users, families, and carers
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of care plans and service strategies
  • Participate in clinical supervision and peer support to ensure high-quality care and professional development

Requirements:

  • Full driving license and access to own car
  • Experience working with adults with learning disabilities in a community setting
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team
  • Strong commitment to clinical supervision and peer support
