Community Learning Disability Nurse

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate nurse to join our integrated multi-professional Learning Disability team in Argyll and Bute. As a Community Learning Disability Staff Nurse, you will provide high-quality care to adults with learning disabilities in West Argyll, including the Oban, Mid Argyll, and Kintyre areas.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide assessment, diagnosis, treatment, and management of individuals with learning disabilities
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals, care providers, and local authorities to ensure comprehensive care
- Participate in the Scottish Government Health Check Programme and contribute to the development of health checks for individuals with learning disabilities
- Work closely with the Senior Nurse to develop and implement care plans that promote person-centered approaches
- Engage in clinical supervision and peer supervision to ensure ongoing professional development
Requirements:
- Registered Nurse (Learning Disability) or equivalent qualification
- Experience working with individuals with learning disabilities and their families
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a multidisciplinary team
- Valid UK driving license
