Tasks

Therole: Python DeveloperOperations

We are seeking a skilled PythonDeveloper to bridge the gap between our technical team andoperations team. In this role you will be responsible fordeveloping and maintaining tools and systems that streamlineoperations processes enhance efficiency and facilitate seamlesscommunication between the technical and operational aspects of ourbusiness. You will collaborate closely with both teams tounderstand their needs identify opportunities for improvement anddevelop solutions that meet those needseffectively.

Were looking for a Python Developerto join the team working remotely with availability to come to theoffice in Mayfair London once a month.

Ourbackend systems serve as the backbone for our operationsorchestrating integrations order aggregation and investmentprocesses through our proprietary workflow engine (Schemebasedlanguage). We use Python3 and mypy leveraging the power andreliability of a PostgreSQL data store.

On thefrontend we pride ourselves on providing an intuitive andstreamlined user experience. Our clean and simple portalfacilitates client order capture and reporting seamlessly.Developed with React and TypeScript our frontend ensures efficientand effective interactions for ourusers.

What youlldo:Responsibilities

  • Designing andarchitect complex systems and applications specifically for ourFinancial Operations team.
  • Understandingtechnical requirements proposing solutions and designing softwarecomponents and systems.
  • Writing highqualityefficient and maintainable code
  • Participatingin code reviews providing feedback to other team members andensuring that coding standards and best practices are followedthroughout the developmentprocess.
  • Communicating effectively withstakeholders to understand requirements and provide updates onproject progress.
  • Optimising the performance ofPython applications identifying bottlenecks and inefficiencies andimplementing solutions to improve scalability responsiveness andefficiency.
  • Staying updated on the latesttrends technologies and best practices in Python development andsoftwareengineering
