Salary:

£20 - £30 Per hour

Job Duties:
  • Provide tutoring to students with Special Educational Needs (SEN)
  • Create tailored learning plans based on individual student requirements
  • Deliver engaging and interactive lessons to support student progress
  • Monitor student performance and adjust teaching methods accordingly
  • Collaborate with parents, teachers, and support staff to ensure student success
Required Qualifications:
  • Experience working with students with SEN
  • Strong understanding of different learning needs and abilities
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Education:

Relevant qualification in Education or Special Educational Needs

Experience:

Prior experience working as a tutor with SEN students

Knowledge and Skills:
  • Knowledge of SEN teaching strategies and resources
  • Ability to adapt teaching methods to suit individual student needs
  • Patience and empathy when working with students with diverse needs
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Additional certifications in SEN education
  • Experience with assistive technology for SEN students
Working Conditions:
  • Part-time hours with flexibility in scheduling
  • Work closely with students, parents, and education professionals

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
