Teaching Personnel are seeking a dedicated and compassionate SEN Teaching Assistant to join our dynamic team at a mainstream secondary school in Tameside. This role is pivotal in supporting students with special educational needs, helping them achieve their full potential in an inclusive and supportive environment.

Salary: £420 to £450 per week.

Start date: 2nd September 2024.

As an SEN Teaching Assistant, you will work closely with teachers and other support staff to provide tailored assistance to students with a range of learning difficulties. Your responsibilities will include assisting in the development and implementation of individualised education plans, supporting students in the classroom, and fostering a positive and inclusive learning atmosphere.

The ideal candidate will have experience working with children or young adults with special educational needs, strong communication skills, and the ability to work collaboratively as part of a team. Patience, empathy, and a passion for supporting the educational and personal development of students are essential qualities for this role.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
