Main duties of the job

At our Sefton Talking Therapies, we offer Psychological Wellbeing Practitioners (PWPs) high quality supervision and opportunities for continual professional development. PWP's are supported to become proficient in psychological assessment, delivering a range of low-intensity psychological treatments for anxiety disorders and depression - psychoeducation, behavioural activation, medication management, problem solving and guided self-help.

Qualifications

Essential

Qualified Psychological Wellbeing Practitioner (inclusive of awaiting final ratification) or Qualified Graduate Mental Health Worker and Registration as a Psychological Wellbeing Practitioner with either BABCP or BPS.

Experience

Essential

Evidence of working in primary care settings with people who have experienced a mental health problem. Able to demonstrate clinical outcomes and meeting agreed performance targets. Ability to manage own caseload and time. Demonstrates high standards in written communication. Able to write clear reports and letters.
