About the Role

The Young Person's Advisory Service is seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Parenting Practitioner to join our dynamic Wellbeing Team. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in delivering evidence-based parenting interventions to support parents in developing their skills and confidence in helping their children's behavior, personal, and social development.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and deliver group programs and one-to-one coaching sessions to support parents in building resilience and making positive life choices.
  • Work collaboratively with our multi-disciplinary team to provide a comprehensive range of youth work provision, support, and therapeutic interventions.
  • Support parents in developing their skills and confidence in helping their children's behavior, personal, and social development.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of evidence-based parenting interventions.

Requirements:

  • Postgraduate Diploma in Evidence-Based Psychological Treatments for Parenting for Conduct Disorder.
  • Two years post-qualification experience working with parents or children and young people.
  • Qualified member of a mental health profession, Accredited Therapist, Social Worker, Occupational Therapist, or equivalent.
