What you’ll do 

As Application Development Specialist you will deliver the telephony solutions we offer to our customers, identifying the business and end-user requirements for contact centre solutions. -

 

You will work with the project team and Vodafone customer account teams to design and integrate custom applications on Voice & Contact Centre Platforms to agreed timescales and within budget.  You will engage with key customer and internal stakeholder to produce detailed application design documentation and support those designs through to completion.  You will act as a subject matter expert, supporting all parties throughout the project lifecycle, providing technical input to complete the application build and agree customer’s transition/migration plan. You will manage the delivery of applications, working with third party vendors, internal teams and the customer to ensure all parties’ requirements are delivered. You will assist the project team with the resolution of technical issues and deliver service enhancements to operational contact centre solutions.  You will complete Application Development unit testing and support the Vodafone and customer test teams. You will work with internal Vodafone teams to ensure knowledge and expertise are shared and the customer solution is successfully handed over into support/operations.

Who you are 
 

You will have the ability to implement and configure Cisco UCCE components, including ICM, CVP, Call Manager & Finesse. You will have an understanding of IP Telephony and ACD & CTI integrations.  You will have a familiarity with cloud-based contact centre operations and hybrid environments.  You will be proficient in programming and scripting languages such as Java, Javascript, Python or .Net to support customer application development.  You will have an understanding of Agile development methodologies and project management tools like Trello or Jira.
