- Title: Housing Officer
- Hours: 35 hours per week
- Salary: £16-£20p/h (including holiday pay)
Vetro Housing are excited to be actively recruiting for Housing Officers in the local area. If you have a genuine passion for supporting people with their challenges, increasing engagement and reducing antisocial behaviour, this job is for you
Duties:
- Be present and visible to engage with the community
- Listen and respond to concerns / complaints
- Manage a large caseload
- Implement and develop policies and procedures to improve community safety and quality of lives
- Support tenants through contract management, and responding to breaches of contract
To be successful you will have:
- Full UK driving license with access to vehicle and business insurance
- Experience of working with social housing, tenancy support, antisocial behaviour or similar
- Confidence when dealing with multiple complex cases
- Team working skills
- Excellent IT skills
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to use own initiative to manage own workload and seek out new challenges
