Security Solution Architect

As the Security Solution Architect, you will support multiple businesses and operations, developing and maintaining our current security architecture
Your broad expertise is valuable to all parts of the business and at all levels. You will routinely engage with technical project teams and frequently influence them at a strategic level.
What you'll do
Your responsibilities will include:
stay up to date with the latest security technologies, techniques and standards develop and maintain the principles underpinning a secure architecture develop and maintain a policy and approach which consistently delivers ‘Secure by Design' and through-life capability development processes and guidelines work with Security, OT and IT teams to integrate security architecture and design processes into all capability development and acquisition activities maintain a clear understanding of the business' diverse range of operations and requirements, its threats and risks, and identify security requirements and solutions document the business' extant IT and OT security architectures and system security requirements, and foster the development of consistent system design documents and diagrams develop and maintain new security architectures, policies and patterns to provide a consistent approach to secure system development and installation review current and emerging threats and security requirements against extant system designs and architecture to identify any impact on our security posture, while also communicating areas for improvement assess new systems and services to identify any impact on our security posture translate technical issues and assessments so that security concerns and risks are understood by all stakeholders support and occasionally lead the technical design of systems and services aupport Cyber Security Operations and Incident Response activities as required.
What you'll need
In this exciting role, you will need:
five years of experience developing security solutions and/or security architecture a Bachelor's degree in Cyber Security, Computer Science, Information Technology or a related discipline advanced IT, OT or security certifications Demonstrable understanding of security risks, solutions and controls Demonstrable understanding of project and programme methodologies and frameworks, and the placement/delivery of security architecture/design within those frameworks Demonstrable experience with common architectural models and tooling such as ArchiMate, TOGAF, Zachman or SABSA
