Shift Maintenance Engineer
Our Client in the Newry area have a requirement for a Maintenance engineer to join their team on a full-time permanent basis. Contact Conor O'Hagan for more details
Night shift (36 hours only, Sun - Wed night)
Around £50,000 + Bonus + (double time overtime rates)
The Role:
Reporting to the Maintenance Manager the maintenance engineer will have responsibility for all reactive and preventative maintenance on site
Duties include:
- Electrical and Mechanical fault finding on all machinery
- Understanding of pneumatic & hydraulic systems
- Ensure effective reactive maintenance on all equipment
- Develop maintain and implement planned maintenance schedules and routines for all equipment
- Ensure all plant and equipment is operationally safe and complies with the relevant legislation
- Ensure all health and safety policies and procedures are complied with in accordance with the company requirements
- All other engineering duties as and when required on the Nightshift
The Person:
- Time served maintenance engineer (preferably electrically trained)
- NVQ Level 3 or equivalent in Electrical / mechanical engineering
- Manufacturing experienced
- Experience with fault finding on PLC's
The Package:
