The shift pattern is Mon-Fri 9-5pm

NHS Scotland is reducing their full time working week from 37.5 to 37 hours per week from 1 April 2024 but with no change in pay. This reduction will also be applied pro rata for part time staff. This advert and any subsequent offer/contract of employment therefore reflects the new working hours. However, as not all service areas will be able to adopt the 37 hour working week immediately from 1 April 2024, you may be required to work up to an additional 30 minutes per week for a temporary period for which you would be paid until the service you are working in changes rosters or working patterns to accommodate the new reduced working week. Exciting opportunity for all nurses interested in supporting the education of post-registration nurses and in particular Newly Qualified Nurses (NQN) through the Flying Start Programme. The successful post-holder will work closely with Practice Education Facilitators and Regional and Corporate Practice Educators. The Burns and Plastics Unit is part of the Regional Directorate within GGC, the post-holder would be based at GRI.

This post is an Annex 21 Band 7;. Applicants must have a minimum 4years post-registration experience, 2 years at a senior level. To meet the criteria of a substantive B7 post the post-holder must meet the requirements listed below.

• To hold or be working towards an appropriate post registration Masters level qualification or equivalent • To hold or be planning to work towards a teaching / learning qualification i.e. Effective teaching in practice

• To hold or be planning to work towards Quality Improvement qualification i.e. Quality Improvement and Safe Care and Quality Improvement in Healthcare
