What you’ll be doing
as a HGV/LGV Driver C+E Apprentice You will have a fully embedded induction programme delivered by Thames Water and Seetec Outsource Training and Skills. A journey of learning activities over the length of the apprenticeship programme. Access to online learning and an e-portfolio where you will be able to gather evidence to demonstrate your performance ensuring your apprenticeship – this evidence can be used towards your end point assessment. Allocation of an apprenticeship delivery coach who will carry out: regular training, assessment and support visits to ensure you acquire new learning, knowledge skills and behaviours to progress and develop, identify, track and support 20% off the job training activities, quarterly formal progress review meetings; identifying learning achievements and next steps. Apprenticeship Course Duration is 12- months plus end point assessment. (3-6 months)When you join, you’ll become part of our thriving apprentice network and enjoy a comprehensive and tailored induction programme. This will be followed by a bespoke development programme to support your personal and professional development and enhance your career progression. As part of this, you’ll get involved in a range of activities and gain knowledge in areas such as mental health and wellbeing, sustainability and health and safety. In addition, you’ll join a variety of events, including our annual raft race.

Base Location : Dorney WTW, Bath Road, Taplow, Maidenhead, SL6 0PR
Working hours : 38 hours per week. (Start time 09:00 am when onsite. Hours will vary when attending training or college).
Programme Length : 12 Months + End point assessment
Training provider details: Seetec Outsource Training and Skills.
Other immediate demands : You must hold a valid UK driving license and be 18 years of age to complete the apprenticeship programme.

Have great teamwork skills but also be able to work independently, putting customers at the heart of everything you do. Communicate effectively and be able to challenge when a problem arises. Be a champion for Health & Safety within the workplace for both you and your colleagues, helping us maintain our great reputation.
