We are looking for a

proactive and adaptable person to join our existing team of four administrators. Responsibilities will include liaising with students, General Practitioner (GP) Tutors, college and pre-clinical school staff, as well as booking rooms and catering, preparing courses materials and updating information on Canvas (the University’s Virtual Learning Environment), and collating student feedback. You will provide administrative support for the annual “Career Pathways to Academic Primary Care” conference for medical students, which involves booking, and liaising with, event venues as well as arranging catering and equipment requirements, booking speakers, and liaising with attendees, and answering queries. The post holder can expect to provide generalist administrative support for the other courses run by the Undergraduate Teaching Group, gaining broad experience across a range of administrative activities. Working closely with other members of the group, you will provide high quality administrative support and respond to enquiries verbally and in writing. In addition, you will need to possess initiative, the ability to work under pressure, and excellent attention to detail. You will be educated to A level or equivalent and preferably have experience working in a university or similar organisation in an administration-related role. You will possess good IT skills with proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, Teams and Outlook. You will be based in the Gibson Building Ground Floor, Nuffield Department of Primary Care Health Sciences, Radcliffe Observatory Quarter, Woodstock Road, Oxford, OX2 6GG as your normal place of work, but you will be able to agree a pattern of regular remote working with your line manager. This position is part time and permanent. We would preferably like the post holder to work Tuesdays and Thursdays as this aligns with the Undergraduate Teaching Group’s core teaching days. We can be flexible with what other day you would like to work.
